The submission process is designed to collect the information needed for evaluation without requiring a final exhibition file.

Open your AMVA submission profile and enter the contact details for the submitting party.

Add the work title, artist, credits, country of production and release information.
Link
Provide a private or public screening link. A password can be added where required.
Select
Choose one or more categories. Each work is assessed separately in every category entered.

Review the declaration of rights, no-AI policy and regulations, then complete the secure checkout.
Before you begin

Human authorship and clear rights are non-negotiable across the AMVA selection process.
Applicants must hold the authority needed to submit the work and grant AMVA the limited rights required for selection, screening and festival communication.
- The work must be submitted in the appropriate category or categories.
- Generative AI, whether partial or full, is not permitted in the submitted work.
- Video files are requested only from selected works. For the first stage, a secure screening link is sufficient.
- Full eligibility, credits, delivery specifications and rights terms are set out in the Rules.
Cancellation or postponement
If Nèira Cultural Association cancels the 2027 edition before the evaluation stage for organisational or financial reasons attributable to the organisation, participants receive a full refund within 60 days, unless they explicitly transfer their submission to the next edition.
If the edition is postponed, the submission remains valid for the new date. Participants may request a full refund within 30 days of the postponement notice. Fees are not refundable for participant withdrawal, non-compliant material or non-selection, except where set out in the rules.
