Awards
Eight main categories recognise artistic and technical excellence. Four Special AMVA Awards reflect the festival’s curatorial vision and public participation.
Grand Prize
Best Music Video
The festival’s highest honour. This category cannot be entered directly. The Grand Prize is selected from among the category winners and recognises overall artistic excellence, authorial vision and aesthetic impact.
Award: Cash prize, amount to be announced; an article written by Obscure Agency for Rolling Stone UK; handcrafted AMVA Trophy.

Works are evaluated for artistic coherence, formal innovation, technical control and expressive strength.
Best Song
Recognises the most powerful or meaningful song among the selected music videos.

Best Director
Recognises the most coherent, personal and impactful directorial vision.

Best Cinematography
Recognises the most evocative, carefully crafted or innovative cinematography and visual language.

Best Performance
Recognises the most intense or original performance, considering stage presence, movement and expression.

Best FX / Virtual
Recognises the most effective, creative or narratively driven editing.

Best Low Budget
Recognises the strongest music video created with limited resources and a significant artistic impact.

Best Narrative
Recognises the most engaging, emotional or original narrative structure.

Best Animation
Recognises the best use of animation or motion design in a music video.

Special AMVA Awards
Three awards connected to the festival’s curatorial perspective, Valle d’Aosta and public participation.
Elemental Award
Recognises the music video that most powerfully explores the relationship between people and nature while enhancing the value of landscape and the environment.
Award: Handcrafted AMVA Trophy; an artistic residency in Valle d’Aosta to create a music video or short film; local products offered by festival sponsors.
Social Impact Award
Recognises a music video that addresses social, cultural or environmental issues with visual power and ethical relevance.
Award: Handcrafted AMVA Trophy; local products from Valle d’Aosta.
Audience Award
Awarded through public voting for videos included in the Echo Selection. The winning work enters the official competition and receives a nomination for Best Music Video.

Out of Competition
Echo Selection
A curated selection of non-nominated music videos recognised for their strong artistic impact. The works receive an official festival screening and may be voted for by the public for the Audience Award.
