Submission principles
What applies to every submission
These are the conditions that define whether a work can enter the AMVA selection.
Human authorship
Generative AI, whether partial or full, is not permitted in submitted works or in the artistic and promotional material connected to them.
Rights
The submitting party must hold the authority needed to submit the work and grant AMVA the limited rights required for selection, screening and festival communication.
Screening
A secure screening link is enough for the first stage. Exhibition files are requested only from selected works.
Eligibility and fees
Before you submit
Each category entry is evaluated separately. A work may be entered in more than one category.
Entries must be original music videos submitted by the rights holder or an authorised representative. The work must be entered in the appropriate category or categories and supplied with complete credits.
Early Bird entries are €20 per category from 1 October to 31 December 2026. Standard entries are €30 per category from 1 January to 15 April 2027.
If Nèira Cultural Association cancels the 2027 edition before evaluation for organisational or financial reasons attributable to the organisation, participants receive a full refund within 60 days, unless they choose to transfer the submission to the next edition.
If the festival is postponed, submissions remain valid for the new dates. Participants may request a full refund within 30 days of the postponement notice.

When are selected works and nominees announced?
The selection timeline, jury and exact festival schedule will be announced progressively. The festival is planned for mid-June 2027 in Aosta.
Can I submit to more than one category?
Yes. Each category entry is assessed independently and requires its own entry fee.
Can a work using generative AI be submitted?
No. AMVA does not accept generative AI in submitted works, artistic materials or festival communication.
Will every submitted video be screened?
No. Public screenings are reserved for selected works and for the programme announced by AMVA.
